By downloading, installing, or using Lucid: AI Dream Journal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

• The App offers subscription-based premium features (weekly and annual plans)
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings
• Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective policies

The App uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate dream interpretations and chat responses. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated interpretations are for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only
• AI interpretations are not professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice
• You should not rely on AI interpretations for medical or mental health decisions
• AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate

You retain ownership of all dream entries and journal content you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the App's services. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App to generate or distribute harmful content

The App is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your mental health, sleep disorders, or recurring nightmares, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
